Kaylyn has been working at Theraplay since 2016 after completing her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the U of A. In September 2022, Kaylyn relocated to Weyburn and opened a Theraplay sister site in the community. Having been born and raised in Weyburn, Kaylyn is thrilled to be back and offer services for this great community. She is currently dividing her time between working with children/adolescents in the clinic setting and proving contract services for the South-East Cornerstone School Division.

Kaylyn has completed additional training in Sensory Processing, Fitness to Drive, Reflex Integration, Trauma-Sensitive Practice, Interoception, Managing Anxiety at Home and School, Toilet Training for Autism, ADHD, ODD, and SPD. She is committed to continue her learning to best support the needs of her current and future clients.

Kaylyn has a strong passion for helping others achieve success in meaningful occupations and is a strong advocate for her clients and their families. She sees each client as a unique individual and makes each assessment and treatment session fun, engaging and meaningful. In her spare time, Kaylyn keeps very busy with her husband and two little boys. She enjoys trips to the lake with family, quad rides, biking, and spending lots of time with family and friends.
